Banana Nut Cheesecakes are almost too good to resist. It is a light batter that looks more like cake. However, it becomes more flavorful as it bakes. It is rich in bananas and chocolate. It’s even better when you serve it cold. This recipe is simple and easy to make cheesecake.
Start with plain nonfat or reduced fat yogurt. Mix half a cup of sourcream with two cups of frozen fruit juice. Add a pinch of salt, one-quarter teaspoon of baking powder, and mix well. Add all of this to a bowl. Then, use a rubber cutter to cut the mixture into round shapes. You can press the rounds into the bottom and sides with a rubber knife, making sure to not drop any cream cheese in the batter.
Bake the bananas in the oven at 350° for ten to fifteen minutes, or until the top has set. Turn off the oven and once the bananas are cool enough for handling, take them out of their container. Now, you can chop the chilled mixture into three pieces. These should be placed on a baking tray lined with wax paper and oil coated.
Next, line the bottom of a pie pan with graham cookies. Spread half of your mixture over each graham crck, leaving a little space between each one. You can then smoothen out any air bubbles with your finger by pressing down on the graham crackers. This will seal some of the flavors. Mix together the dry ingredients, half of the cake mix, the milk, and the sugar using a food processor or blender.
Now, it is time to assemble all of the ingredients needed for your cheesecake. Combine the dry ingredients with the chopped bananas. Mix well. Next, combine the wet ingredients. Mix well. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Make sure to smoothen out any lumps. Place the mixture in the oven, and bake for around 30 minutes.
Next, you will need to decorate your cake. You can decorate your cake by adding fruit slices (3- or more), chocolate drizzles or lemon juice. Sprinkles of almonds or hazelnuts are also possible. Once the cake cools, you can frost with a spatula. Now enjoy your first piece of cake!
